  • Description: The widowed miller (Christoforos Nezer) has fallen for the beautiful wife (Smaroula Giouli) of his host. Later on, the miller is trapped by the woman and leaves her his entire fortune. Then, she and her husband throw him out into the street. Unable to stand the mocking taunts of the people around him and fatally offended, the miller ends up committing suicide.
